With the weather reaching a high of 73 degrees, it felt like Mango brought the warm Mediterranean breeze from its hometown of Barcelona to New York City for the opening of its Fifth Avenue flagship store. Last night, guests like 13 Reasons Why actress Tommy Dorfman gathered in the three-story, 23,000 square-foot store to kick off the grand opening with a little shopping and cocktails. The bar served up Besserat de Bellefon Champagne, Grattamacco red wine, and—of course—there was a tropical-inspired watermelon and hibiscus spicy margarita on the menu, too.
In true Mediterranean style, that was only the beginning of the celebration. After browsing the new summer arrivals and getting custom-embroidered tote bags, guests were whisked off to downtown Manhattan for a lively dinner at Balthazar. The feast turned into a fiesta with a DJ who was able to get guests up on their feet and dancing during the evening.
